We got the following message from the board – A key takeaway is that all are invited to the board meeting on the 31st, at 10am, at the community building.  This vandalism will be a hot topic.

Recently we have had vandalism on the Prevost Dock:

AUGUST 23-24 TWO BOATS WERE VANDALISED

*TWO HOLES WERE DRILLED IN THE BOTTOM OF AN ALUMINUM BOAT

*A BRASS LOCK & STAINLESS SECURITY CABLE WERE CUT AND STOLEN

*SEVERAL BOATS HAVE BEEN UNTIED FROM THE DOCK IN THE PAST SIX WEEKS

PLEASE BE OBSERVANT!  IF YOU SEE ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS, PLEASE REPORT IT TO A MEMBER OF THE BOARD.

The next board meeting is Saturday, August 31, 10am at the community hangar.  Please attend so we all can discuss this problem.

It has been a few years since my daughters participated in the parade – I kind of forgot how much fun it is.  Apparently even the adults took it pretty seriously haha. There was a great turn out – both floats, and spectators!  If anyone has more pictures they’d like me to put here let me know.

Possible Barge Shares and Extra 5/8″ minus gravel

Hi,
We have a barge coming over on July 11th at noon from Roche to Stuart. It will have a Browne Lumber delivery truck on it, but there should be extra room both ways if you are looking for a share.
On July 22nd around 8:30am we have a Barge coming over with a load of Gravel (5/8″ minus) we are getting 5 cubic yards of which we only need about 3. If someone is interested in the extra, I am happy to have them dump it at your place for $100.

Also looking for help digging some shallow footing holes around July 12th, happy to pay for the help.

2019 update…Will be bringing our Isuzu Trooper to SI on May 20 leaving Roche at 3:15pm. There is space for another smaller rig. Also, will be returning the Trooper to Roche on May 31 and willing to share space. Call 360-317-5489 for more info.
