from the Board……

Hello fellow Stuart Islanders,

 Another season  has rolled around and it’s time again for our annual meeting on Sunday May 26th at 10:00AM at the community hangar.  There also will be a board meeting on Saturday, May 25th at 10:00AM at the community hangar.

 We will be discussing our usual business including the roads, ramp, runway, dock, fire systems, emergency medical procedures, community property and the burn pile. We review and determine the budget and discuss other issues surrounding our great community. There is an organized effort for some fun fundraising this year so don’t miss out. It’s also that time again for election of new board members.

 This year following the annual meeting at 1:00PM we’re going to have Dr. Mike Sullivan (Medical Director of San Juan County EMS), possibly the new chief of the EMS system for San Juan County and the sheriff’s boat arrive to review with us services available for medical evacuation. This will be a very informative and important presentation as all of the information will be from the source and current.

 We look forward to seeing everyone at all of the meetings and having a great summer.
