One of our neighbors just told me to check out Leap Frog Water Taxi. It looks like it might be a good option for getting to our island from Bellingham. I added it to the transportation page.

We’ve used Island Express countless times, and Ray and Jay are very accomodating. They’ve carried up literally anything we’ve ever needed (not to mention they’re the only passenger boat to go to Stuart now Paraclete doesn’t go there any more); they carried up our 33 12’x6″ boards for our new decking; they’ve carried batteries, gasoline, propane, other volatiles, and simply anything we’ve ever needed. Thier prices are comparable to NW Sky Ferry, and you get 1-2 hours of decompression time in beautiful views while petting other people’s dogs. (And we take up a cat.)
