July 4th and hot, dry weather is coming…a few reminders concerning fires and fireworks:

~ San Juan County has initiated a burn ban effective July 1st.  
~ No fireworks are allowed on Stuart Island and all San Juan islands.
Please respect our islands and comply to the law.

Representatives from the fire department came and talked to our neighbors at the recent May owners meeting. They had lots of good info – Read the owners meeting minutes for a summary. In the mean time, they offered to provide address posts to anyone interested. The posts are provided “free” but they ask for “a minimum $30 donation”. Here is the order form…
