Harbor Propane..

will be on our island soon. Here is a letter I received from them…

Hello Everyone,

We are planning to deliver propane out to Stuart Island on May 20 & 21, 2021.  We don’t know exactly which side of the island we will deliver to first, but we will let you know as soon as possible.

As we did for our previous deliveries, there will be a flat fee and an additional cents/gallon fee for everyone in order to cover the cost of the barge.

Please let us know whether or not you will be needing propane.  If you have a chance to check your tank percentages before we get there, please let us know.  You can email the information back to haprborpropane@gmail.com or feel free to call the office with the information.

In order to service you quickly we need your help in keeping your driveway clear and maintained so that we can get our truck in the right place to get your tank filled.  We would greatly appreciate the removal of any brush, vehicles or obstacles from both the driveway and the area surrounding the tank itself that may prevent us from reaching your tank.

If anyone has any friends or neighbors that they know might need some fuel and still may not have heard that we are going to be making a delivery, please let them know and have them send us an email or give us a call.

Thank You,

The Crew at Harbor Propane

Runway Condition

Recently from Vince – thanks Vince

Ok folks back at it…
The runway is wet, like April wet not January wet which is a good thing.
The middle of runway is usable except extreme east end which is very soft tundra tires only soft. Stay off the sides if the runway, we pulled two planes out last weekend. Land to the west go to farthest end to turn around. Suggest parking at the mail she’d where it is dry.

the Sheep

Mike and Heather Olson have spent considerable time helping care for the sheep over on the Norm Mills property. They shared the following pictures with us last summer, I’m finally getting around to posting them! Thanks Olsons
