The President recently designated the new San Juan Islands National Monument. Here is a link to the Seattle Times article with some information about this story. Read the 4 page proclamation included in the post. It looks like the Turn Point Lighthouse on Stuart Island is included, as well as Patos Island and a couple other spots. The last page seems to indicate that flying light planes won’t be impacted (hopefully).
